HOUGHTON, N.Y. (February 7, 2012) – The Men's Basketball team fell to rivals Houghton College this evening 48-39.
The Raiders last lead of the game would come with 17:50 left in the game when the team held a slim 23-22 advantage.
The Highlanders would take control after Matt Ball scored with less than 15 minutes remaining.
Dominique Williams paced the Raiders with a double-double after scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Senior
Alif Bland was one point and one rebound shy of his own double-double as he finished with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Bland did block three shots to add to his NAIA Division II leading mark of 74 blocks.
With the loss, the Raiders fall to 8-19 overall and 4-5 in the American Mideast Conference.
The Raiders continue the road swing this Saturday in Pittsburgh when they take on Point Park University.
