ROCHESTER, N.Y. (August 30, 2012) – The Volleyball team travels south of the state line this weekend to start the 2012 campaign at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Crimson Hawk Invitational. The Redhawks will play four matches over two days at the tournament.

SCOUTING MICHIGAN TECH (0-0-0/0-0-0 GLIAC)
The Huskies finished 2011 with a disappointing 2-25 record. However, they come into this season with their leading scorer, Jordanna Kero (Hancock, Mich.). Kero paced the Huskies with 167 kills and earned at least ten kills in seven matches.
Defensively, the Huskies will look to Andria Nyenhuis (Gladstone, Mich.) to continue her solid form. Last year, Nyenhuis was second on the team in blocks with 36 (nine solo).
SCOUTING COKER (0-0-0/0-0-0 CC)
The Cobras come into this season looking to improve upon their 9-19 record. The reason for optimism is that Coker returns ten players, including all seven starters.
Among the returners are junior setter Taylor Willis (Zephyrhills, Fla.) and middle blocker Hannah Vadakin (Centennial, Colo.). Wills led the Cobras with 190 kills while Vadakin earned 166 a season ago. Vadakin also led the team with 87 blocks (25 solo).
SCOUTING CEDARVILLE (0-0-0/0-0-0 G-MAC)
The Lady Yellowjackets are coming off a 22-18 season and are looking to make an impact as full –fledged NCAA Division II members.
The team is led by senior setter Erica Bartholomew (Coloma, Mich.), who appeared in all 145 sets last season. Bartholomew ranks third all-time with her career assist per set total of 8.08 and ranks seventh all-time with a .362 assist percentage.
SCOUTING LE MOYNE (0-0-0/0-0-0 NE-10)
The Dolphins finished 2011 by winning five of their last seven matches to secure a 16-12 overall record. Roberts Wesleyan will face Le Moyne twice this season as the Dolphins will play host to the Redhawks on Tuesday, September 11.
Le Moyne is led by senior hitters Morgan McDermott (Camillus, N.Y.) and Allison Hebel (Greenlawn, N.Y.). McDermott recorded 287 kills while Hebel accumulated 284 kills. McDermott also paced the team with 90 blocks (22 solo).
