ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 11, 2012) - The Redhawks continue to fly high coming off their victorious weekend, adding yet another win to their repertoire in tonight's home match against Mansfield University (Penn).
Forward
Brittany Houghton sunk the first goal in the 19
th minute of the first half to start the Redhawks off. In the 54
th minute, however, Mansfield found the back of the net and tie the game 1-1.
The Redhawks would answer the challenge however and scored back-to-back goals, both netted by Brittany Kinmond making the score 3-1.
In the 86
th minute,
Briana Tata rounded out the score to an even 4 and the game ended with Redhawks victorious 4-1.
This win raises the Redhawks to 4-2 on the season and they look to add more victories this weekend at the Mt. Vernon University tournament in Ohio.
