SYRACUSE, N.Y. (September 11, 2012) – The Redhawks fell to Le Moyne College in another close match, losing in five sets on the road this evening.
The Redhawks lost to the Dolphins in the opening weekend of the season at the IUP Crimson Hawk Tournament in the same fashion.
Leading the way for the visitors were the senior hitting pair of
Alexa Antoni and
Gisela Ocasio. The pair tallied 13 kills each and also had eight digs. Sophomore
Becca Maher led the team with 13 digs from the libero position.
With the win, Le Moyne improves to 5-2, having won five straight after starting the season 0-2.
For the Redhawks, the loss puts them at 3-5 as they prepare for their first East Coast Conference match when they host Dowling College on Friday at 4:30pm.
