ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 14, 2012) – The Women's Soccer team continued to roll in a 2-1 win over Madonna (Mich.) University this afternoon at Mount Vernon Nazarene's Lady Cougar Classic.
Junior forward Brittany Kinmond scored both goals in the game for the Redhawks who have now won four straight and five of their last six games.
Kinmond scored in the 32
nd minute to put the Redhawks up 1-0 and then scored the game winner with just 12 minutes remaining to score her sixth goals of the season.
With the win, the Redhawks are 5-2 and take on Campbellsville (Ky.) University tomorrow afternoon before coming home to host their East Coast Conference opener next Friday (Sep. 21) when Mercy College visits.
