ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 15, 2012) – The Volleyball team picked up their second win of the weekend, taking down Houghton College in three sets. The match was the first three-set version this season for the Redhawks.
Leading the way for the home team was
Alexa Antoni, who finished the match with 14 kills off of 32 attempts and an attack percentage of .281. Fellow senior,
Gisela Ocasio had nine kills and a team high 12 digs.
Kendall Havener led the Redhawks with four blocks (1 solo, 3 assists) to along with her nine kills.
Houghton's Hattie Burgher led the Highlanders with eight kills and nine digs.
With the win, the Redhawks have climbed back to. 500 with a 5-5 record and are 1-0 in the East Coast Conference after defeating Dowling College on Friday.
The Redhawks have time to prepare for their next match, a meeting with the University of Bridgeport at home next Saturday (Sep. 22) at 1pm.
