ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 20, 2012) – The Women's Soccer team looks to extend their five game winning streak tomorrow evening when they host Mercy College in their East Coast Conference opener.
The game, scheduled for 5pm, is the first part of a doubleheader where fans are encouraged to wear black as part of a BLACKOUT promotion.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (6-2-0/0-0-0 ECC)
The Redhawks return home after winning Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Lady Cougar Classic last weekend. Roberts Wesleyan defeated Madonna (Mich.) University 2-1 on Friday before defeating Campbellsville (Ky.) University 3-2 on Saturday.
Offensively, the Redhawks have received a healthy dose of junior Brittany Kinmond. Last weekend, Kinmond scored two goals while assisting two more to earn the Lady Cougar Classic offensive MVP honor.

Breanna Maggio has continued her solid play this season. Maggio has a 1.43 goals against average while making 45 saves through eight games.
SCOUTING MERCY (2-5-0/0-1-0 ECC)
The Mavericks have struggled early this season having dropped five of their last six games after winning their season-opener against Pace University, 4-2. Most recently, the Mavericks fell 3-2 in overtime to Molloy in their conference opener.
Mercy is led by forwards Crystal Mena and Jennifer Vega on offence. Mena leads the team with 12 points (4 goals, 4 assists) with Vega has 10 points (4 goals, 2 assists).
The Mavericks primary goalkeeper Cyera Smith has made 18 saves with a 2.46 goals against average through five games.
