ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 11, 2013) – The Men's Basketball team hosts Dowling College this Saturday afternoon at 4pm in the Voller Athletic Center.

Admission is $3 at the door and is good for both the women's game at 2pm and the men's game at 4pm. Roberts Wesleyan College/Northeastern Seminary faculty, staff, and students are free with a valid College ID.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (5-8/2-3 ECC)
The Redhawks fell at home to the LIU Post Pioneers on Wednesday evening, 100-58, in East Coast Conference action. Frehsman Williams Bromirski paced the Redhawks with 15 points in the game, his most since scoring 16 on Dec. 8 against Mercy College.
Currently, three players are averaging double-figures for the Redhawks this season.
Devin Grimes leads the team with 16.2 points per game with
Mike Stone at 11.7 points per game and
Tyrel Dixon coming in at 10.3 points per game.
As a team, Roberts Wesleyan are averaging 9.5 steals per game, slightly more than their opponents average of 9.2 steals per game.
SCOUTING DOWLING (3-9/0-4 ECC)
Dowling comes into Saturday's game looking to snap a three-game losing streak. Their last win came on Dec. 31 when they defeated Nyack College, 73-55.
Offensively, senior guard Josh Malone leads the Golden Lions with an average of 13.2 points per game through their first 12 games. Corwin Austin is averaging 11.3 points per game while Darien Davis is right behind with 10.9.
Malone is also leading the team on the boards as he is averaging nearly seven rebounds per game. Junior forward Justin Alexander is averaging 6.8 rebounds per game in addition to averaging 2.2 blocks per game, which is second best in the ECC.
UP NEXT
The Redhawks will travel to take on Molloy College on Thursday, Jan. 17 before visiting Queens College on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Roberts Wesleyan will then host two games the following week when they host the University of Bridgeport on Wednesday, Jan. 23 and the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday, Jan. 26.
