Men's Basketball Travels to Take on Molloy Tomorrow

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 16, 2013) – The Men's Basketball team visits Molloy College Thursday evening for an East Coast Conference match-up. Tip-off is scheduled for 8pm.
 
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (5-9/2-4 ECC)
The Redhawks are looking to snap a four-game losing skid after starting out 2-0 in ECC action. Most recently, Roberts Wesleyan fell to Dowling College at home by the score of 76-58.
 
Devin Grimes continues to be a force on the boards for the Redhawks this season. Through 14 games this season, Grimes is averaging 12.9 rebounds per game and has a total of 181 boards. The senior also leads the team in scoring with 16.1 points per game.
 
Freshman Tyreal Dixon has been a pleasant surprise for the Redhawks as the forward leads the team in steals with 2.1 per game. Dixon is also averaging 11.3 points per game, which puts him third-best on the team.
 
SCOUTING MOLLOY (8-5/4-1 ECC)
The Lions have won three-straight and five of their last seven games, including conference wins against Dowling, the University of Bridgeport, and Queens College.
 
Junior John Petrucelli is averaging 15.0 points per game to lead Molloy in scoring thus far. Jimmy Nolan and Matt McLeod are averaging 10.8 and 10.2 points per game respectively.
 
Petrucelli, a forward, also leads the team with 6.9 rebounds per game. As a team, Molloy averages 37.4 rebounds per game and has a -2.7 rebounding margin.
 
UP NEXT
The Redhawks travel to Queens College this Saturday for a 4pm match-up. Roberts Wesleyan will return home next Wednesday when they host the University of Bridgeport at 8pm.
