ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 8, 2013) – The Women's Basketball team hosts the LIU Post Pioneers this Wednesday evening in an East Coast Conference match-up.

Admission is $3 at the door and is valid for both the women's game at 6pm and the men's game at 8pm. Roberts Wesleyan College/Northeastern Seminary faculty, staff, and students are free with a valid College ID.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (7-4/2-2 ECC)
The Redhawks narrowly fell to St. Thomas Aquinas College, 63-62, on Saturday in Sparkill, N.Y.
Marissa Bunce led the visitors with 17 points after hitting a season-high five three-pointers.
Senior forward
Brittany Williams is averaging a team-best 11.0 points per game. Williams is shooting 43% from the field and is shooting a respectable 75% at the free-throw line.
As a team, Roberts Wesleyan is shooting 66.1% at the line, which is second best in the ECC this season. Only the University of Bridgeport is better with an average of 67.2%.
The Redhawks distributing the ball well this season as the team is averaging just under 18 assists per game. Bunce is averaging 4.4 assists per game while
Ashley Cianfriglia is averaging 2.7 assists.
SCOUTING LIU POST (9-2/2-1 ECC)
The Pioneers have won five straight games as well as winning six of their last seven. In their last outing, LIU Post cruised to an 82-69 win at home against Queens College.
On offense, the Pioneers are led by senior Nicollette Marciniak. The forward is averaging 15.5 points per game this season and is shooting 52.4% from the field.
On the boards, Samantha Kopp is averaging 9.5 rebounds per game for the Pioneers. As a team, LIU Post is averaging 44.2 and holds a +5.5 rebounding margin over their opponents.
UP NEXT
The Redhawks host Dowling College this Saturday at 2pm in the Voller Athletic Center. The game is the first of a doubleheader between the two schools as the men's game is followed at 4pm.
