Men's Basketball Falls to LIU Post at Home

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 9, 2013) – The Men's Basketball fell to the visiting LIU Post Pioneers this evening, 100-58.

The Redhawks, who never led in the game, came close mid way through the first half.  With 11:29 remaining in the first half, William Bromirski hit three-pointer to cut the Pioneers lead to one, making the score 20-19.

LIU Post would then go on a 19-2 run over the next six and a half minutes to take control of the game.

Bromirski would finish the game with a team-high 15 points after going 6 of 10 from the field and 3 of 7 from beyond the arc.

Junior forward Patrick Downer added nine points while senior Devin Grimes posted eight points for Roberts Wesleyan.
With the loss, the Redhawks fall to 5-8 overall and 2-3 in East Coast Conference action.

The team is back in action this Saturday when they host Dowling College at 4pm.

Tickets to the game are $3 at the door. Faculty, staff, and students of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary are free with a valid College ID.
