Rochester, N.Y. (September 18, 2013) – Women's Soccer falls to University of Bridgeport. Second in the conference,  Bridgeport came into the game on a 12 game win streak. Roberts was 3
rd in the conference.
Bridgeport's first goal was scored by #9 Flo Gamby in the 15
th minute of play, with quick header in off of a long ball. Roberts worked to get into Bridgeport's final third but could not finish. The first half ended 1 – 0 Bridgeport.
Roberts had several chances,
Ellie Swan had a great opportunity to tie when Bridgeport's goalie was caught off her line. The shot went wide. Roberts forwards worked hard but only totaled 9 shots to Bridgeport's 22.
Bridgeport scored their second goal in the 60
th minute of play with a scrappy goal the result of a scramble in the box. Redhawk's goalie #

Roberts plays again at home this Sunday at 3pm. They take on Dowling, Dowling is currently just one place (4
th) under Roberts in the ECC standings (as of Sept 26).
