ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 19, 2013) – The Volleyball team fell to Molloy in a hard fought five set match this afternoon at home.
After losing the first two sets, Roberts Wesleyan stormed back to take the next two, forcing the fifth set. The teams played back and forth until the visiting Lions managed to win the final two points, winning the set 19-17.
With the loss, the Redhawks are now 1-2 n five set matches with both losses being home contests.
Junior middle blocker
Kendall Havener led Roberts Wesleyan with a match-high 16 kills as well as making three solo blocks.
Jordan Wilson posted 11 kills off of 19 attempts to finish the day with a .421 hitting percentage.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 7-9 overall and 2-6 in the East Coast Conference.
Roberts Wesleyan is back in action next Friday when they host the Bears of New York Institute of Technology at 7pm. Â They will also take on LIU Post at home the following day at 11am.
