ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 2, 2013) – The Volleyball team fell in three sets (23-25, 25-27, 21-25) to the visiting Wildcats of Daemen College this evening.
The match was played close throughout with the Redhawks doing their best to stop a potent Daemen offense which was led by Ye Wang's 14 kills.
Jordan Wilson led the way for Roberts Wesleyan by notching nine kills.
Junior middle blocker
Kendall Havener was right behind with eight kills off of just 15 attempts to finish the night with a .533 hitting percentage. Havener also posted a team-best 3 blocks.
Olivia Zureck had a team-high 13 digs as
Maggie Concannon made 30 assists on the night.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in East Coast Conference play.
Roberts Wesleyan will look to pick up their first conference win of the season this Friday when they welcome the University of Bridgeport for a 7pm match.
