Volleyball Drops Hard Fought Match at Daemen

AMHERST, N.Y. (October 29, 2013) – The Volleyball team dropped a hard fought five-set match on the road at Daemen College this evening, 26-24, 19-25, 20-25, 26-24, 8-15.

The Redhawks were led by junior middle blocker Jordan Wilson as she tallied a match-high 19 kills and a solid.366 hitting percentage.

Kendall Havener also has a productive night with 14 kills off of 31 attempts to finish with a .419 hitting percentage.

With the loss, the Redhawks are now 1-3 in five losses this season. The team was also swept by the Wildcats this season as
Daemen downed Roberts Wesleyan in three sets at home back on Oct. 2.

The Redhawks slip to 7-12 overall and 2-9 in the East Coast Conference with the loss.

Up next for Roberts Wesleyan is a two-match road trip this weekend as they visit Dowling College on Saturday and the University of Bridgeport on Sunday.
