ROCHESTER, N.Y. (November 12, 2013) – The Women' s Soccer team travels to take on Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University tomorrow afternoon in the NCCAA East Region semifinal.

The Redhawks are looking to punch their ticket to the NCCAA East Region final for the first time since the 2010 season, which was a 2-1 loss to Mount Vernon Nazarene at home.

Brittany Foster, who has 23 points (11 goals, 1 assist) this season. Joining the points leader is freshman

Marissa Sell has posted a solid .832 saves percentage after making all 17 starts for the Redhawks. She has also recorded five shutouts while allowing 1.43 goals per game.

The Cougars are familiar foes for Roberts Wesleyan as both teams were members of the former American Mideast Conference. Mount Vernon Nazarene now competes in the competitive Crossroads League, an NAIA conference.

Megan Griffith, a senior midfielder, leads the team with 22 points (7 goals, 8 assists). Leading Mount Vernon Nazarene in goals is sophomore Casey Apple, who has nine goals this season.

Goalkeeper Lexus Andolino has made the most starts for the Cougars this season with a total of 11 starts. She holds a .756 saves percentage and a 0.94 goals against average. Eleni Miller has appeared in 10 games while starting seven times. She has a .750 saves percentage and .1.120 goals against average.

The winner of the game will travel to take on Houghton College, the East Region's top seed, at a later date to be determined. The winner of that game will earn the region's automatic qualifier to the NCCAA National Championships, which is held in Kissimmee, Fla. the first week of December.
