ROCHESTER, N.Y. (November 12, 2013) – Junior middle blocker
Kendall Havener notched 18 kills to lead Roberts Wesleyan past Houghton College in three sets (25-14, 25-19, 25-15) this evening.
Things didn't always go the way the Redhawks wanted as they fell behind 17-13 in the second set, having to come from behind. But, the home team managed to rally by winning 12 of the next 14 points to take the set.
Havener finished the night with a remarkable .750 hitting percentage after leading the match with 18 kills off of just 24 attempts. As a team, the Redhawks posted a .305 hitting percentage.

Jordan Wilson also had an effective evening with 10 kills.
The victory puts Roberts Wesleyan's record at 9-14 overall.
With the win, the Redhawks now must win one of their final two road matches this weekend to qualify for the NCCAA East Region Tournament, which will be held at Houghton on Nov. 22 and 23.
This weekend, the team travels to face Molloy College on Nov. 16 and Queens College on Nov. 17.
