ROCHESTER, N.Y. (February 16, 2013) – The Men's Basketball team fell 72-51 to Molloy college this evening.
The Lions, who swept the season series, nearly led from start to finish a game that saw the Redhawks shoot just 36.5% from the field.
Mike Stone led Roberts Wesleyan with 12 points after going 5 of 11 from the field as well as dishing out four assists.
Forward
Patrick Downer added 11 points as he was 4 of 9 from the field and 3 of 5 at the free throw line.
Freshman
Tyrel Dixon fell one free-throw short of a double-double as the forward posted nine points and 10 rebounds. Dixon was 3 of 8 from the field and 3 of 4 at the charity stripe in addition to making two steals and blocking one shot.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 7-17 overall and 4-12 in the East Coast Confernce.
Roberts Wesleyan has two more games remaining with both being Saturday games at home. Queens College visits the Voller Athletic Center next Saturday at 4pm followed by NYIT on Mar. 2.
