Men's Basketball Entertains Queens Tomorrow at 4pm

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (February 22, 2013) – The Men's Basketball team hosts Queens College in East Coast Conference action tomorrow afternoon at 4pm.

The Knights defeated Roberts Wesleyan 75-66 in their first meeting back on Jan. 19 in Flushing, N.Y.

TICKETS
Tickets are $3 at the door and are valid for both the men's and women's games, which tips-off at 2pm. Roberts Wesleyan College faculty, staff, and students are free with a valid College ID.
 
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (7-17/4-12 ECC)
The Redhawks are looking to finish the regular season strong as they prepare for an NCCAA East Regional game when they host Houghton College on Wednesday, Mar. 6.
 
Roberts Wesleyan's underclassmen have been performing at a high level this season. Freshman Tyrel Dixon is averaging 11.7 points per game while sophomore Mike Stone is right behind with 11.5 points per game.
 
Junior forward Patrick Downer has a team-high 16 blocks for Roberts Wesleyan this season in addition to averaging 9.3 points per game.
 
SCOUTING QUEENS (8-15/8-7 ECC)
Queens snapped a three-game losing skid by defeating the University of the District of Columbia, 88-79, on Wednesday. Before the three-game losing streak, the Knights had won five in a row.
 
Junior guards Patrick Parker and George Holmes lead the Knights in scoring. Parker is averaging 16.0 points per game while Holmes is scoring 15.8 per game. Parker's average puts him fifth in the ECC rankings with Holmes coming in at seventh.
 
As a team, the Knights hold a 68.6% free-throw shooting percentage, third-best in the conference.

Roberts Wesleyan closes out the regular season at home next Saturday when they host New York Institute of Technology at 4pm.
