ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 1, 2013) – The Men's Lacrosse team makes their home debut Saturday afternoon when they host American International (Mass.) College at 3pm.
The game is also the first time in program history the Redhawks will have hosted an NCAA Division II opponent.

The Redhawks are searching for their first win of the 2013 season after falling to Mars Hill (N.C.) College and Pfeiffer (N.C.) University two weeks ago.
Freshman midfielder
Dom Cianfarano has gotten off to a quick start in his college career by leading Roberts Wesleyan with 7 points (6 goals, 1 assist) through two games. However, the Redhawks have spread the wealth with seven players scoring at least one goal.
Goalkeeper
Matt Hamilton has played every minute while posting a .522 saves percentage after facing a total of 85 shots. The junior is averaging 12 saves per game for the Redhawks.
SCOUTING AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL (1-2/0-0 NE-10)
The Yellow Jackets come into Saturday's contest having defeated UMass Boston (NCAA DIII), 9-6 earlier in the week. The win marks American International's first victory since defeating Northeast-10 foe, Southern New Hampshire University, on Apr. 9, 2011.
American International is led by Nick Amendt, a junior, who has 8 points (7 goals, 1 assist) through three games. Sophomore attacker Jeff Seinkiewicz is right behind Amendt with 7 points (5 goals, 2 assists).
On defense, Andrew Sheehan leads the team with five caused turnovers. As a team the Yellow Jackets have a total of 31 caused turnovers.
Alexis Buque has been performing well between the pipes for the Yellow Jackets with a .592 saves percentage after facing 126 shots.

Roberts Wesleyan has a busy week as they will play back-to-back games on the road this Tuesday and Wednesday before playing at home on Saturday.
The Redhawks will travel to take on SUNYIT (NCAA DIII) on Tuesday at 7pm in Utica, N.Y. before visiting No. 2 Le Moyne College in Syracuse the next day at 3pm.
Next Saturday, the team will host former American Mideast Conference (NAIA) rivals, Walsh (Ohio) University for the first time in a relatively new sport for both schools. The Cavaliers are a first-year varsity program having competed several seasons as a club team.
