ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 5, 2013) – The Men's Lacrosse team begin a hectic week with back-to-back road games as they visit SUNYIT this evening at 7pm before traveling to Le Moyne College tomorrow at 3pm.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (1-2/0-0 ECC)
The Redhawks picked up their first win of the season by defeating American International (Mass.) College, 10-6, in their home opener on Saturday. Freshman
Dom Cianfarano led the way with his six goals for Roberts Wesleyan.
Cianfarano currently is tied for first in the East Coast Conference with his 12 goals through three games.
Matt Hamilton has been performing well in goal for the Redhawks as he holds a .544 saves percentage while averaging 10.3 saves per game.
Faceoff specialist
Anthony Nucci Lauria has won 32 of 59 with a .542 win percentage for the Redhawks. The sophomore also leads the team with 18 ground balls.
SCOUTING SUNYIT (0-2/0-0 NEAC)
The Wildcats have gotten off to a rough start this season losing to Alfred University and Utica College.
Senior attackman Kevin Gardrvits leads SUNYIT with his three goals off of his nine shots.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jeffery Melnik has spent the most time between the pipes for the Wildcats through the first two games. Melnik has a .536 saves percentage while making a total of 37 saves.
SCOUTING LE MOYNE (3-0/1-0 NE-10)
The No. 2-ranked Dolphins have gotten off to a quick start with three wins in eight days. Their most recent game was a 22-2 dismantling of Northeast-10 opponent, American International on Sunday.
Tyler Prevost leads Le Moyne with 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists) through their first three games. The senior has effective by putting nine of his 13 shots on frame. Chris Button, a junior, leads the Dolphins with his 10 goals and is second on the team with 11 points.
In goal, senior Jeff White has logged the majority of minutes for the Dolphins and has an impressive .714 saves percentage, but has only been forced to make 10 saves.

Roberts Wesleyan returns home to take on Walsh (Ohio) University this Saturday at 2pm. The game is a part of a doubleheader with the Women's Lacrosse team hosting Edinboro (Pa.) University at 4:30pm
