ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 6, 2012) - The University of Rochester defeated the Men's Tennis team 7-2 this evening. Roberts Wesleyan managed only one doubles point and one singles point as the Yellow Jackets defeated Roberts for the third straight time.

Robert Beer held on for a 9-8 victory at second doubles after surrendering an early lead. Charlie Farres won the lone singles point with a 6-2 6-2 victory over Ben Shapiro at first singles.
The Redhawks travel to Erie, Pa this weekend to play Edinboro State and Mercyhurst University, both of which are ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA Division II Atlantic region.
The Redhawks are now 10-3 overall and 1-0 in ECC play. Rochester ran its record to 7-1.
