Men's Lacrosse Down Dominican (N.Y.) on Senior Day, 16-5

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (May 4, 2013) – The Men's Lacrosse team earned their first-ever East Coast Conference win after defeating Dominican (N.Y.) College, 16-5, on Senior Day this afternoon.

Leading the way for the Redhawks was freshman Dom Cianfarano. The attackman scored a game-high five goals for the home team, giving him an even 50 goals on the season.

After a relatively even first half, things opened up in the final period for Roberts Wesleyan as they poured in a season-high nine goals over the final 15 minutes.

Craig Petit put together a solid game after scoring a hat-trick as senior defender Alex Gray netted two goals.

Matt Hamilton picked up the win after making four saves in the first half before Keith Keehn record 13 saves in the second half.

The win gives Roberts Wesleyan a final record to 5-12 overall and 1-6 in their inaugural season in the East Coast Conference.
