ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 12, 2013) – The Redhawks remained undefeated at home after defeating Davis & Elkins (W.Va.) College, 4-0.
Senior forward
Brittany Foster netted the brace for Roberts Wesleyan after scoring in the 40
th and 85
th minutes.
Freshman
Bella Mitrevski opened up the scoring in the ninth minute when she found the ball in open space inside the box, sending it to the inside of the right post.
Mandi Hochhiemer scored in the 59
th minute when she knocked the ball in on a point blank shot in front of an open goal.
Junior goalkeeper
Marissa Sell recorded five saves for the Redhawks, earning her second shutout of the season.
The win improves Roberts Wesleyan to 3-1-0 through four games.
The Redhawks will hit the road as they travel to take on Cedarville (Ohio) University this Saturday for a 2pm game.
