Rochester, N.Y. (September 13, 2013) – The Volleyball team wins second straight home game of the season by defeating Bloomfield College this evening in three sets.
Roberts Wesleyan had definitive wins in the first two sets (25 -16, 25 -17) and were able to close the game with an exciting 26-24 third set win. Â
Alexandre Tahauri stood out for the Redhawks with a match- high 14 kills and .370 attack percentage. Â
Jordan Wilson and
Corey Phillips combined for 13 kills.
Corey Phillips also helped the Redhawks defensively by leading her team with 9 digs.
The Redhawks had a team attack percentage of .228 compared to Bloomfield's .038
The win gives the Redhawks a record of 2-2, they look to continue their win streak at home against the College of Saint RoseÂ
Saurday at 12pm.
College of Saint Rose played Bloomfield at 5pm at Roberts. Bloomfield lost in a 3 set game.
