HOUGHTON, N.Y. (September 25, 2013) – The Volleyball team swept Houghton College in straight sets ( 25-15, 25-23, 29-27)this evening on the road at the Nielsen P.E. Center.
The Highlanders provided a challenge to the visitors as the Redhawks need to win by two points in the second and third sets.
Kendall Havener led the way with 11 kills, posting an impressive .579 hitting percentage. Havener also recorded eight digs on the night.
Freshman
Alexandre Tahauri was right behind with 10 kills for the Redhawks.
Setter
Maggie Concannon led the team with 42 assists while Olivia Zurek had 13 digs.
The win improves Roberts Wesleyan's overall record to 4-5 as they now prepare to take on rivals Daemen College on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at home.
