Rockville Center N.Y. (October 17, 2014) – The Women's Soccer team dropped on the road to Molloy College this afternoon.
The Redhawks went down quickly, Molloy scored their first goal four minutes into the game off a cross. Roberts Wesleyan tied the game with a penalty kick awarded to
Bella Mitrevski. This was her 10
th goal, which ties her for second in the ECC in scoring. Molloy was quick to respond going up 2-1 in the 39
th minute off another cross.
Roberts Wesleyan worked hard to come back taking 7 of their 9 shots in the first half. Play let up for the Redhawks in the second half while Molloy took advantage of a one on one opportunity against Goalie
Marissa Sell in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Sell made five saves by the end of the match.
The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 7-7 and 2-4 in the ECC.
The Redhawks continue on the road to play Queens College this Sunday October 19
th at 11am.
