ROCHESTER, N.Y. (February 2, 2014) – The Men's Basketball team suffered a stunning, 84-49 loss to the LIU Post at home this afternoon.
The Redhawks never led in the game as the visiting Pioneers dominated play throughout the game, earning the season sweep over Roberts Wesleyan.
The lone bright spot for the Redhawks was senior
Patrick Downer, who scored 10 points in the game.
Fellow forward Tryel Dixon added eight points to go along with five rebounds in the losing effort.
For the Pioneers, Vaughn Allen poured in a game-high 25 points after going 7 of 12 from the field and a solid 11 of 12 at the free-throw line.
The loss drops Roberts Wesleyan to 9-10 overall and 5-8 in the East Coast Conference. They are back in action this Friday when they host Queens College at 8pm.
