Rochester, N.Y. (February 23, 2014) - The men's lacrosse team beat out Alderson-Broaddus College this afternoon in non conference play. The Redhawks won 15-9 in their first home game.
Roberts went up 5 in the first quarter keeping Alderson-Broaddus scoreless. The first goal came from
Cody Lewis it would be his only goal. The next four came from sophomore
Dom Cianfarano Cianfarano would go on to score a game high 9 goals including Roberts sole goal in the 3rd quarter. Cianfarano also added an assist.
Freshman
Mike Hubert added 3 goals for Roberts, he has a total of 7 goals in his first two games for the Redhawks. Other goals came from
Seth Miller and
London Booker Four assists came from freshman

Defensively
Tim Davidson had a game high if 3 caused turn overs. Anthony Nucci-Lauria dominated winning 24 of 26 face offs for the Redhawks. Nucci-Lauria also had a game high 16 ground balls.
Goalie
Matt Hamilton recorded 9 saves
The win puts the Redhawks at 2-0. The men's team plays Saturday March first at 1pm in their opening conference match up against University of the District of Columbia at home.
