NORTH CANTON, Ohio (March 29, 2014) – The Men's Lacrosse team continued their winning ways this afternoon, earning a 12-7 at Walsh University.
The visiting Redhawks used three consecutive goals to start the second quarter, taking a 5-2 lead. After going into halftime with a 5-3 lead, Roberts Wesleyan reeled off another three goals to start the third quarter to solidify their lead, making it an 8-3 game.
Both
Dom Cianfarano and
Seth Miller finished the game with three goals and two assists for the Redhawks. Joining the duo in scoring was
Matt Benedict, as all three earned the hat-trick.
In goal,
Matt Hamilton got the win after making 16 stops as he faced 23 shots.
The win puts Roberts Wesleyan at 6-1 overall as they continue their non-conference schedule.
Up next is a home game next Thursday at 4pm when the Redhawks host the nationally-ranked University of Tampa.
