Men's Tennis Falls to Rochester, 6-3

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 6, 2014) – The Men's Tennis team fell to the University of Rochester yesterday, 6-3, in non-conference action.

Highlighting the match for Roberts Wesleyan was England-natives Charles Farres and Sam Thorold. The duo paired up at first doubles to down the Yellowjackets' Jonny Baker and Julian Danko in a hard fought 9-7 win.

In singles play, Farres downed Baker again at second singles 6-3, 7-6 while Thorold edged Danko 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.

At fourth singles, Julio Toledo was competitive in a loss to Rochester's Boris Borovcanin, falling 7-5, 1-6, 6-4.

The loss drops Roberts Wesleyan to 4-3 overall as they prepare to travel to Houghton College this Saturday at 1pm.
