ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 12, 2014) – The Men's Lacrosse team lost to Mercy College, 10-7, at home this afternoon.
The Redhawks played well early as they went up 3-1 at the 5:38 mark in the second quarter with
Nick Wolak's second goal of the game. However, the Mavericks scored three unanswered to take a 4-3 lead into halftime.
After trailing by three in the third quarter, Roberts Wesleyan rallied to even the game with a goal from
Mike Hubert and then a pair from
Dom Cianfarano.
The game then slipped away from the home team as the Mavericks score three in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
In all, Cianfarano scored four goals and had one assist as he now has 35 goals on the season.
Nick Wolak added two goals as Mike Huberts scored once. Sophomore Set Miller was credited with two assists.

Matt Hamilton put together a solid game as he recorded 13 saves in front of the goal.
For Mercy, Jesse Wood had four goals off of six shots while assisting on three more goals.
The loss puts the Redhawks at 6-5 overall and 2-4 in the East Coast Conference.
Up next is another home game as they step out of conference action when Roberts Wesleyan hosts Lake Erie (Ohio) this Wednesday at 4pm.
