Rene Torti were double winners and figured in all the scoring for the Redhawks. Â Beer and Rauchle combined for a 8-1 victory at second doubles. Â Torti and
Guilherme Plentz de Liz were 8-4 winners at third doubles. Â

In singles action, Rauchle defeated Sean DeBlasio  6-4. 7-0 at sixth singles, while Beer took out Juan Velosa at third singles by a 6-4, 6-0 score.  The deciding point in the match went to
Rene Torti, a junior transfer from Nebraska Wesleyan. Â He defeated Long Vo 6-1, 6-1 at fifth singles to seal the victory. Â
"This was a very competitive match, and we needed to dig deep to pull it out. Â Philadelphia is a tough team and we have a great deal of respect for them." Said Coach

The Redhawks are now 2-0 on the seasons and 1-0 in Division II competition. Â The travel to the University of Rochester on Wednesday for a 4pm match against the rival Yellowjackets
