Syracuse, N.Y. (September 4, 2014) - The Women's Soccer team took on thruway rival LeMoyne College this afternoon.

LeMoyne took the lead in the 25th minute with a goal that came from inside the 18-yard box. The first half would end in a tie as Roberts Wesleyan freshman Orla Martin would score with minutes left.

Goal keeper Marissa Sell made 5 saves to Lemoyne's 1. The Redhawks and the Dolphins were evenly matched in shots 11 to 10 respectively.

Less than ten minutes into the second half Bella Mitrevski scored off a breakaway. A late goal from LeMoyne off a foul on the Redhawks tied up the game. The Redhawks pushed back when Mitrevski assisted junior Ellie Swan in the 89th minute to give Roberts Wesleyan the win.

The Redhawks are home this Saturday September 6 at 1:00pm to take on Nyack College.
