ERIE, Pa. – Playing their first game in more than a week, Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer edged Gannon, 1-0, in non-conference action this evening.

Garth Brungard's goal in the 65
th minutes was the difference as the Redhawks were outshot 15 to 5 against the Golden Knights.
Turning PointBrungard managed to send his shot from the far left side to the back of the net to break the scoreless stalemate with 25 minutes remaining in the game. It was his team-leading eighth goal of the season.
Individual Leaders- Both Brungard and
Taiwo Aderounmu led the team with two shots, each placing one on target.
- Senior goalkeeper
Michael Scavone was credited with three saves to earn his second shutout of the season.
Inside the Box Score- Despite the Golden Knights' 15 shots, both teams only had one corner kick opportunity.
News & Notes- This was just the first meeting between the two programs since 1983, who are now tied 1-1 all-time. Gannon won 4-0 in the first game 32 years ago.
- Roberts Wesleyan wrapped up the non-conference portion of their schedule with a record of 3-2-1. They have four ECC games remaining on the schedule.
