ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Redhawks came up with the win in an exciting fashion in tonight's double overtime conference matchup against Daemen. While the visiting Wildcats led for the majority of the game off of a goal from Andrea D'Sa in the fifth minute; a goal from
Bella Mitrevski in the 73
rd minute of the game propelled the Redhawks into overtime.
Brittany Houghton scored the game winning golden goal 56 seconds into the second overtime to seal the Redhawks victory. Mitrevski picked up her third yellow card of the season in what proved to be a true defensive battle.
Turning PointWhen Mitrevski put her shot in the back of the net near the end of regulation, Daemen did not have much time to answer the goal.

Taylor Fletcher had one shot in the game for the Redhawks which was on frame early in the first half.

Mary Kate Eckert picked up four huge saves in the game bringing her season save total to 50.
