ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan volleyball earned the season sweep against Mercy at home this afternoon with a three-set win.
The Redhawks were led by sophomore
Courtney Taylor, who recorded a team-high 13 kills off of 26 attacks to finish the match with a .500 hitting percentage. The outside hitter also posted 11 digs and an ace.
Kristina Button was also productive with 12 kills and an efficient .455 hitting percentage for Roberts Wesleyan, who earned their first win at home this season.
As a team, the Redhawks ended the match with a season-high .282 hitting percentage while also recording five service aces.
The victory also improved Redhawks to 7-0 all-time against Mercy.
Roberts Wesleyan will look to keep their momentum going next Saturday when they visit Queens for a match at noon.
