ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Redhawks came up with the tie after a late goal by
Courtney Hartnett saved Roberts Wesleyan from defeat. After trailing until the 86
th minute of the game Hartnett found the back of the net to send the game into overtime.
The visiting Purple Knights Lauren Mengel scored in the 38
th minute off of an assist by Jess Laszlo. Through both overtimes Roberts Wesleyan did not manage to get a shot on goal. The Redhawk defense came up big stopping three shots in overtime; while goalkeeper,
Mary Kate Eckert had one save.
Turning PointHartnett's late goal saved the Redhawks from defeat and propelled the team into overtime.
Individual Leaders- Mengel had one shot one frame for a goal in the first half for the Purple Knights.
- Hartnett's second half goal was her only shot in the game scoring in traffic off of a free kick.
