AMHERST, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball dropped their season opener against Holy Family, 79-61, at Daemen's ECC-CACC Challenge this evening.
The Redhawks were paced by
Tyrel Dixon, who notched a team-high 16 points after hitting 5 of 12 from the field and 6 of 8 at the line.
Mike Stone added nine points, all of which came from beyond the arc while Malike Dare recorded a team-high eight rebounds.
As a team, the Redhawks shot 33.9 percent from the field, but were unable to contain the Tigers, who were led by Isaiah Gans' 17 points.
The Redhawks will wrap up their season-opening weekend at Daemen tomorrow at 2 p.m. when they square-off with Wilmington (Del.).
