WATERBURY, Conn. – Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball continued their strong start to the season with an 88-67 win on the road at Georgian Court this evening.
The Redhawks were led by
Samantha Courtney, who recorded her third straight double-double while
Lucy Covley added 22 points.
How it Happened:Roberts Wesleyan again started the game strong, taking a dominating 21-6 lead into the second quarter before heading into halftime with a 42-26 advantage.
The visitors shot the ball well as they finished the night with shooting 40.5 percent from the field and a solid 34.6 percent from long range.

Key Stat:The Redhawks received 23 points from the bench while holding Georgian Court's bench to just 12 points.

Inside the Numbers:- Roberts Wesleyan forced 28 turnovers which resulted in 35 points off of those miscues.
