ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball fell at home to District of Columbia in a thrilling triple overtime game Friday evening.
The visitors outlasted the Redhawks as Iman Scott led all scorers with 36 points.
How It HappenedAfter leading 55-47 at the end of three quarters, the Firebirds forced the game into overtime by outscoring Roberts Wesleyan 15-7 in the final 10 minutes of regulation.
Roberts Wesleyan led 88-86 with less than three minutes remaining in the third overtime, but the Firebirds hit their shots down the stretch.

In overtime, District of Columbia shot 40.7 percent from the field and went 9 of 12 at the line to earn the win.

Conversely, the Redhawks went just 5 of 11 from the free throw line in the three overtime sessions despite shooting a solid 45.5 percent from the field. Â
