ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 18, 2015) – Roberts Wesleyan closed out their six-game home stand this afternoon with a 13-10 non-conference win over Tiffin.
Junior attacker
Loren Dunn paced the Redhawks with four goals off of eight shots, all of which were put on frame.
With the four goals, Dunn improved her season tally to 25 goals, which puts her just two goals shy of her season total from last season.
Roberts Wesleyan, who has won three-straight for the first time in the program's four-year history, used hat-tricks from both
Ali Fox and
Cassley Jackowski to solidify the win. The duo also notched one assist respectively.
After
Marissa Sell scored her first goal of the season with 14:13 left on the clock to make it a 12-7 lead, the visiting Dragons scored three straight to cut the lead to just two before Dunn scored her fourth goal of the game with 11 seconds left to put the game away.
In goal,
Shannon Knapp produced 18 saves to pick up her fifth win of the season.
With the victory, Roberts Wesleyan improved to 5-3 as they travel to take on No. 8 LIU Post on Saturday at 2 p.m.
