ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan volleyball team fell to Le Moyne in straight sets this evening, despite keeping things close throughout with set score of 25-27, 18-25, 23-25.

Senior outside hitter Kate Steger led the Redhawks with 14 kills on the night while Courtney Taylor chipped in 11 kills to go along with a team-high 14 digs.

In the first set, Roberts Wesleyan led 23-21 before Le Moyne evened the score at 23-23 before scoring four of the final six points to take the set.

After a dominating performance by the visitors in the second set, Roberts Wesleyan battled in the third. After trailing 20-16, the Redhawks rallied to within one point with the score at 22-21.
However, that was as close as they would get as the Dolphins closed out the match down the stretch.

The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 1-9 on the year as they turnaround for an exhibition match against Durham (Ont.) tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
