ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Four players scored in double-digits as Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball edged Queens Friday evening, 77-66.

Malik Dare led the Redhawks with 17 points as the team snapped a four-game skid.

How It Happened
Roberts Wesleyan used a quick  13-0 run that lasted just three minutes and spanned both halves to take a commanding 47-32 lead.

The Knights cut the lead to just five points when Travis Whitfield made a layup, making a 67-62 game. However, the Redhawk hit their free-throws down the stretch to seal the win in front of the home crowd.

Key Stat
The Redhawks shot the ball well, finishing the night with a 49.1 field goal shooting percentage while also going 10 of 24 from beyond the arc.

Inside the Numbers
- Tyrel Dixon added 13 points to go along with a season-high eight assists.
- Roberts Wesleyan scored 18 points off of 17 Queens turnovers.  
- Mike Stone inched his was closer to 1,000 career points as he added 14 points in the win, hitting three shots from long range whole also going 5 of 6 form the line. The senior now had 962 career points.

"Dare's" Impact
The big-man scored a season-high 17 points for the Redhawks, going 7 of 9 from the field and 3 of 6 at the line while adding seven rebounds.
Dare also recorded two assists on the offensive side while stealing the ball twice on the defensive side.
