Flushing, N.Y. –The Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team was victorious on Sunday night after a header by
Scott Carson found the back of the net at the end of the first overtime period.

The junior midfielder headed the ball in the middle of the net beating the keeper for the game-winner in the 99
th minute.
Taiwo Aderounmu sent in the cross for the assist.

The Knights were the first on the board in the 25
th minute when Daniel Saint Louis headed a ball from Nicholas Matusewicz to go up 1-0.

Roberts Wesleyan (2-7-1) responded in the 81
st minute with a goal off a corner kick from senior
Malcolm Shaw, knotting the game up at one a piece.
Logan Wood was credited with the assist.

Starting Redhawk goalkeeper,
John Ciavaglia played the whole game in net making seven saves in the win.

The Redhawks were outshot by Queens 21-12.

Roberts Wesleyan will travel to Amherst, N.Y. to face Daemen College on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
