AMHERST, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball picked up their 20th win of the season while also earning the season sweep over Daemen with a 76-63 triumph Wednesday evening.
 
Sophomore guard Brooke Fields scores a career-high 24 points for the Redhawks as Lakiah Huff added a season-high 15 points off the bench.

How It Happened
Roberts Wesleyan led from start to finish against the Wildcats, leading by as much as 20 points late in the third quarter.
 
Daemen cut the lead to just 10 points with 55 second left in the game, but effective free-throw shooting by the Redhawks down the stretch sealed the win.

Key Stat
The Redhawks shot 40.7 percent from three-point range, hitting 11 three-pointers which is just two shy from the program record of 13.

Inside the Numbers
- Huff, a senior, helped the Redhawks in the final moments by making six of her seven free-throws in the final 1:02 of the game.
- Roberts Wesleyan forced 17 turnovers by the Wildcats, scoring 13 points off of their miscues.
- Lucy Covley chipped in 12 points, nine of which came from beyond the arc.

"Fields's" Impact
Coming into the game, the sophomore had scored 22 points on three different occasions, including last Friday's game at Mercy. The guard ended the game 9 of 21 from the field, including 4 of 9 from long range. Fields also went 2 of 2 from the line.

Roberts Wesleyan will host NYIT on Friday as they look to avenge a three-point road loss to the league leaders earlier in the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
