ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – For the first time this season, Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball dropped two consecutive games as they lost 55-49 at Molloy in the regular season finale.
With the decision, the Redhawks will enter next week's ECC Tournament at the No. 4-seed and will No. 5-seed Molloy in a re-match this Wednesday.
How It HappenedWith less than seven minutes left in the game, Molloy managed to erase a seven-point Roberts Wesleyan lead by going on a 10-1 run over slightly more than four minutes.
After taking a 48-46 lead, the Lions closed out the game with a 7-3 run to seal the win.
Key StatNeither team shot particularly well, however Roberts Wesleyan was just 25.5 percent from the field, including a 3 of 20 effort from beyond the arc.
Inside the Numbers- Turnovers were even as Molloy committed 16 to the Redhawks' 15 turnovers.

Necedah James and
Taylor Bynoe each scored a team-high 12 points with Bynoe grabbing 11 rebounds to earn her second double-double of her career.
- Defensively, James and
Brooke Fields had three steals for the Roberts Wesleyan.
"Bynoe's" ImpactThe freshman was a perfect 4 of 4 at the free-throw line while shooting 33.3 percent from the field for Roberts Wesleyan. On the boards, Bynoe hauled in 10 defensive rebounds and one on the offensive side.
Up NextRoberts Wesleyan will host a quarterfinal of the ECC Tournament this Wednesday against Molloy at a time to be determined.
