North Andover, Mass. - Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team suffered their third season loss Sunday afternoon on the road againt Merrimack College. 

Turning Point 
After trailing 7-2 with eight minutes in the first half, the Redhawks scored three goals in a 1:30 minute span in hopes to shorten in the gap. Unfortunately, Merrimack answered with two more goals, and the Redhawks ended the first half trailing 5-9. 

Starting the second half, Merrimack came out strong scoring three goals before the Redhawks could respond with just one. With just under 10 minutes left in the game, the Redhawks scored four goals, but it was not enough to come out on top. 

Individual Leaders
- Cassley Jackowski led the team with eight total points (six goals, two assists)
- Loren Dunn also added another three goals and two caused turnovers for the Redhawks 
- In goal, Shannon Knapp had 13 saves

- The Redhawks won 15 draw controls 
- Roberts Wesleyan had four players score in this afternoon's match 


News & Notes
- With her six goals in this afternoon's match, Jackowski scored her 20th goal of the season. Dunn is right behind her with reaching her 15th goal of the season.

The Redhawks will be on the road again as they take on University of Bridgeport in their first ECC match of the season. The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 5th at 12 p.m in Bridgeport, CT.
