ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball advanced to the NCCAA Midwest Regional championship game after storming past Oakland City, 97-69, in first semifinal.
The top-seeded Redhawks scored a program record 16 three-pointers in the win as
Brooke Fields scored a game-high 25 points.
How It HappenedRoberts Wesleyan used a dominating 20-4 run in the final five minutes of the first quarter to set the tone for the rest of the game after holding a small 11-9 lead. Over that five minute run, the Redhawks went 8 of 13 from the field, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc.
In the second half, the Redhawks matched their largest lead of 32 points after going on a 12-1 run in the third quarter, which was capped off by a three-pointer from Fields with 2:02 remaining in the quarter.

Her 25 points is the seventh time Fields has scored 20 or more points.
Up NextRoberts Wesleyan will host No. 2 seed Lancaster Bible at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The winner of the game will receive the Midwest region's automatic bid the NCCAA National Championship tournament.
