DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's volleyball team got their second win of the season on Saturday defeating Mercy, 3-2 (18-25; 25-19; 25-17; 18-25; 15-12).

Senior
Courtney Taylor led the team with 13 kills on 39 attack attempts (.256 %). The outside hitter also added an ace and 10 digs. Senior setter
Elisabeth Rivera dished out 28 assists.

After dropping the first set 25-18, the Redhawks stormed back to win the second and third sets. In the second set a 7-to-1 run gave Roberts an 11-7 lead.
Rachel Holmes was a big part of that offensive run adding two aces and a kill. In the third set the Redhawks jumped out to a quick 10-3 lead that set the tone. Roberts scored nine straight points much in part to the seven errors by Mercy.

In the final set a kill by Taylor gave the Redhawks a three point lead at 13-10.
Kortney Schaum added an ace to get to set and match point which was finished off with a kill by
Anastasia Smith.

Roberts Wesleyan (2-24, 2-7 ECC) will head to Buffalo, N.Y. for a tri-match against American International and Daemen on Saturday.
